Troy High School is a public high school that is prestigious in the Southern California community. Troy High school has been established for several generations of students, but its prestige began in 1986. It is known for its recognitions as:

Though
Troy High School is open to all students in the district area, it has a large magnet student base that stretches across several different countries surrounding the Orange County area. Over 100 junior high students apply from Orange, Los Angeles, San Bernardino and Riverside Counties. All students, whether in or out of district, must participate in a competitive entrance exam in order to be qualify for the IB program or the famous Troy Tech program.
The Troy Tech program, a Specialized Secondary Magnet Program in Math, Science, and Technology founded in 1986, prepares students for job placement in the technological workforce or for qualifying for prestigious technology-based college programs. Successful Troy Tech and IB graduates from Troy High School are regarded with prestige on college applications. Of Troy High School’s student body, 51% participate in the Troy Tech program.
The Troy Science Olympiad Team is a 14-year national winner of 8 first place awards. Troy’s Science Bowl Team has placed first and second five times in the Western Regional Science Bowl sponsored by NASA/JPL and the U.S. Department of Energy. Students are continuously recognized by the Intel Science Talent Search.
